  1. Question: Is the 85.00 for electricity outlet on top if the cost of the Crop?

    ReplyDelete
  2. yes...the fee is in addition to the fee for the crop itself

  3. will there be microwaves availbale for our guests to heat up food that they bring from home?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Will there be a swap table available? A place to bring products, idea books, etc to leave for others to take?

    ReplyDelete
  5. How much table space do we have? Does the set-up consist of round tables of 8-10 people each? Or long, rectangular banquet tables?

    ReplyDelete
  6. here are answers to a few of the latest comments:
there are no microwaves, we asked and they said no...
i think a swap table is a great idea, so yes we will make sure to provide a few tables.

and table space, we are renting 2 8 foot tables to be pushed together with 6 per table space, though there may be some folks at tables of 4. the issue is the cost to rent the tables and we also rent the chairs. They are not included in the cost of the building. That makes it hard to cover all the costs, in years past we put 6 to the table groupings and it was OK.

  7. another comment on electricity, the cost to us is $85 per dropped line that can have two plugs, We asked again today if they could work with us but said they have to pay the electricians a set rate. We are trying to get them to let us put 3 plugs to an outlet since so many have cricuts. We are renting a group of outlets so you can recharge your lap top battery during the day at no cost to you.

  8. Will the Expo center object to food being delievered, ie. pizza?

  9. will the expo center object to having food delievered, ie. pizza?

    ReplyDelete
  10. yes that is why they are offering the pizza option, we have to use their catering company, it is a union situation and i even tried to suggest we have someone make coffee and they said we would have to use their people. I would think someone could run out and get the pizza and bring it in but don't be real obvious!!

  11. Will the massage therapists have a sign up schedule? Does anyone know what the prices will be?

    ReplyDelete
  12. $1 a minute, minimum 10 minutes for massage, same price for reflexology but she recommends 20 minutes. We will try to have a schedule but if you post here, just give your name, time you want and amount of time. Such as massage, 4pm-15 minutes.

  13. Would love a 15 minute chair massage. Saturday any time after 5:00. I know I'll need one! Kate Taylor

  14. Do we have to be as specific as Basic Option - Ham sandwich (choosing between the turkey, ham or tuna) or Basic 2 - Pepperoni pizza (choosing between cheese or pepperoni) ? thanks.

  17. How will you plan ahead for the extra tables? I would like to do that as well :-)

    ReplyDelete
  18. the expo center is quite large so there should be plenty of space and you can always re-arrange tables if needed though that would be difficult after awhile. I said yes assuming one or two tables. you aren't thinking of bringing more than that are you? that would be labor intensive.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Bringing your own tables might be a violation from the fire marshall's perspective, especially if they appove the floor layout as is. We would have to assume everyone is bringing their own table or two when we do the floor layout.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm confused - will you be getting back to us with confirmation if we can, or cannot?

    ReplyDelete
  21. what time do you suggest we be there on Saturday? I know it starts @ 10 but is there usually long lines, etc?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I think we need to hold off on tables until we work with the expo center on the room layout which will be next week. so stay tuned because the fire marshall issue is one we can't overlook. Sorry for any confusion.

  23. Do you have to pay to park??

    ReplyDelete
  24. I posted about the tables - some people such as myself bring small 29" x 18.5" tables placed next to us. Others might be thinking larger folding tables. Small tables shouldn't be a problem because they don't usually even stick out into the aisle. A large folding table would definitely make a difference. However, I doubt most croppers would bring one that size. Just an FYI

  25. Will we be able to go out to supper and come back in?

    ReplyDelete
  26. yes you can come and go throughout the weekend

    ReplyDelete
  27. I see you can bring your own food in---however can someone transport their food in a small cooler or is this "food union" going to cause a stir about a small cooler??

    ReplyDelete
  28. can someone confirm about tables - NO tables to be brought in right?

    ReplyDelete
  29. the food union won't be there so you can bring in your own FOOD. and no additional tables please.

    ReplyDelete
  30. How many people are attending?
    Are small tables allowed?

    ReplyDelete
  31. we have over 700 plus attending.
